Melissa Dickinson (she, hers)

Melissa is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in neurodiversity, gender affirmation, trauma and chronic illness. She helped create the Wellspring Counseling, Coaching & Transitions Center in Atlanta which is a collection of highly skilled and talented professional counselors and change makers. Melissa is the founder and executive director of the Georgia Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes & Hypermobility Network with over 1,500 members with these conditions and a bridge to the medical professionals who care for them. In December 2022 she was featured in a CNN International report on living with EDS. She is also the founder of the Wellspring Corporation Nonprofit which has a dream of creating an EDS Center of Care in Georgia. She is a lifelong nerd and enjoys reading medical journals for fun and challenging herself to learn something new. She is married and has two adorable fur children.
